MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition

MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) is a highly anticipated annual debate competition organized under Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) which involves twenty (20) pharmacy student societies in Malaysia. This year, UniKL RCMP have taken the initiative to host the 8th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) 2022 with the highlighting theme ‘Voices to Lead a Brighter Vision in Healthcare’. The main intended focus of this event is to provide a platform in encouraging and providing the opportunity for pharmacy students to showcase their critical thinking and communication skills through students’ analytical thinking and broad knowledge concepts in providing a structured, well-informed, and balanced reasoning and evidence across several health disciplines that are outside of the student's curriculum.

 

The 9th MyPSA NPDC 2023 is going to be held for two (2) days, in which the main event that is the debate competition following the Asians Parliamentary Debating Format consists of five (5) stages: three (3) Preliminary Rounds, one (1) Semi Final Round and one (1) Grand Final Round, and accompanied by a series of webinars to engage all participants whilst gaining the newfound knowledge. For the main event, the debate competition will be focused on significant issues related to the healthcare setting, suited to the event’s theme.
