DESCRIPTION:The Summer SEP 2023 will be commenced from this month to September! IPSF SEP is an all year round event which occurs twice a year\, during the Winter and Summer season. The SEP provides professional internship opportunities to pharmacy students across the globe.  Students who have registered with us can look forward to their exchange that will happen soon. Meanwhile\, the Summer SEP registration is still open with limited placements left for MyPSA members. You can plan and register for the upcoming student exchange program this summer with the help of our office. This time around\, the registration will be open until 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑\, 𝟏𝟏:𝟓𝟗 𝐏.𝐌. (𝐆𝐌𝐓 +𝟖) or earlier if the placement is completely filled.

SUMMARY:MyPSA Pharmacy Graduate Career Forum (PGCF) 2023
DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Pharmacy Graduate Career Forum (PGCF) 2023 is an annual event planned through collaborations among officers this year. PGCF 2023 serves as a whole-day event which consists of Provisionally Registered Pharmacist (PRP) sharing sessions\, talk shows\, and a networking session. For PRP sharing sessions\, the speakers will be Fully Registered Pharmacists (FRPs) who have just completed PRP training. The sectors covered would be hospital\, community and industrial settings in the current career environment they are facing. Besides\, the talk show will be a forum with the opinions of pharmacy graduates from different backgrounds. Through the sharing session\, a Q&A session will be followed to answer the audience’s doubts in advance. Aimed at providing health advocacy and disease prevention to diverse communities. Forced displacement creates unique health needs\, and addressing these needs requires a collective effort and an intersectoral approach. As medical students and health workers\, it is important to contribute to the fulfillment of the right of refugees and forcibly displaced people\, particularly their right to health and education. The outreach programme seeks to improve community knowledge\, engage with most-at-risk groups and individuals\, and build trust with the community while promoting access to information and awareness-raising. For 4th June 2023 will be primarily focus on providing treatment for the cases that we were able to help on from the previous session.

SUMMARY:Merch-A-Preneur Contest
DESCRIPTION:The Merch-A-Preneur Contest presents a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and digital marketing skills. To participate\, students must upload a photo on Instagram that highlights the MyPSA merchandise they purchased during the Pre-order Phase in January or the Order Phase in March. Additionally\, they must include the hashtags #MyPSAMerch and #MerchAPreneur and tag @mypsa.official in their post. The contest proudly serves as a gesture of gratitude towards the students who have supported MyPSA by purchasing their merchandise. The two most creative posts will be selected as winners and awarded a prize of RM25 each. Overall\, the Merch-A-Preneur Contest is an enjoyable and engaging way to express appreciation and acknowledge the students who have backed MyPSA.

SUMMARY:MyPSA Compounding and Formulation Olympic Challenges
DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Compounding and Formulation Olympic Challenge 2023′\, which is designed to showcase your knowledge\, skills\, and creativity in pharmaceutical compounding\, and offer a chance to win lucrative cash prizes and mystery gifts. It is now open for registration! \nThe theme for this year’s competition is “Driving Pharmaceutical Excellence through Unleashing the Power of Compounding”\, which aims to develop the skills and knowledge of pharmacy students in pharmaceutical compounding and formulation in order to promote the development of personalized\, patient-centered care. \nThis competition is divided into two categories\, which are the Junior Category and Senior Category. Participants will be competing individually in both categories. Only first-year and second-year pharmacy students are eligible for the Junior Category\, whereas the Senior Category is open to both third-year and fourth-year pharmacy students. There are two stages in both categories\, which include the preliminary round and final round. Only five participants with the highest score from both categories will make it to the final round! By joining this competition\, it helps to foster a sense of pride and enthusiasm for the profession\, and encourages students to continue to develop their expertise and pursue their passions in pharmacy practice.
