Featuring experienced judges from pharmacy professionals\, this competition seeks to expose pharmacy students to the real workforce and the role of pharmacists in compounding and formulation practice. This will empower them to take the best path to achieve their goals of becoming highly competent pharmacists. Two rounds of competitions will be conducted: The preliminary round and the final round. Participants will be divided into two categories which are junior category and senior category based on their year of study to ensure the equity of competition.

SUMMARY:MyPSA Local Vampire Cup 2024 Registration
DESCRIPTION:The Local Vampire Cup 2024 is a national competition organized by the Public Health Office under MyPSA. The event was introduced to boost the participation of local societies in blood donation drives as well as help the National Blood Centre to replenish its blood supply. Local societies which have conducted blood donation drives between 1st August 2023 to 31st July 2024 are eligible to participate in the competition with each whole blood\, plasma or platelet donation counting as 1 point to the respected university tally. While an enabling social and cultural atmosphere with strong solidarity facilitates the development of an effective blood donor programme\, it is hoped that the Local Vampire Cup 2024 will serve as an ideal platform to learn about the act of blood donation that contributes to generating social ties and building a united community. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The MyPSA Contact Person (CP) Training is an annual training held by MyPSA to provide a foundation for CPs to further understand and develop their interpersonal skills related to their job scope. The Executive Committees of MyPSA were invited to provide comprehensive training that encompassed both MyPSA and IPSF aspects. The planning and organization of this event took over a month and the Best Contact Person 2022/23 winner will be invited to share her experiences and motivate current CP to do their best. Various angles of approach were implemented throughout this training\, including briefings\, sharing sessions\, ice breaking sessions\, quiz sessions\, case discussions as well as a request segment for CPs.

SUMMARY:MyPSA Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy Tutorial (QET) 2024
DESCRIPTION:Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy Tutorial (QET) is an annual event hosted by MyPSA to increase the chance of pharmacy students\, especially third year and fourth year students\, to pass the QEPP exam. Additionally\, it aims to familiarise pharmacy students with the format and technique to answer the QEPP exam and to be able to draft future pharmacists that comply with governance provisions. QEPP exam is a 3.5-hour forensic examination comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Correct answers contribute to 1 mark for the examination while there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Examinees are required to obtain a minimum of 50 marks to pass the examination.

DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with ‘World Cancer Day’ 2024\, MyPSA I Can-cer Vive Virtual Run 2024 provides an opportunity to show support for individuals currently battling cancer and increase public awareness about cancer. Each participant is given three weeks to complete a 5 km run. Any participants who manage to complete the virtual run within one hour and thirty minutes will be awarded an E-certificate.
