SUMMARY:MyPSA Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy Tutorial (QET) 2024
DESCRIPTION:Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy Tutorial (QET) is an annual event hosted by MyPSA to increase the chance of pharmacy students\, especially third year and fourth year students\, to pass the QEPP exam. Additionally\, it aims to familiarise pharmacy students with the format and technique to answer the QEPP exam and to be able to draft future pharmacists that comply with governance provisions. QEPP exam is a 3.5-hour forensic examination comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Correct answers contribute to 1 mark for the examination while there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Examinees are required to obtain a minimum of 50 marks to pass the examination.

DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Compounding Event 2024 with the theme ‘The Equation: Mastering the Science of Precision in Compounding’\, the competition aims at equipping pharmacy students with compounding and formulation skills and enhancing their knowledge in preparing the extemporaneous dosage form. Featuring experienced judges from pharmacy professionals\, this competition seeks to expose pharmacy students to the real workforce and the role of pharmacists in compounding and formulation practice. This will empower them to take the best path to achieve their goals of becoming highly competent pharmacists.   Two rounds of competitions will be conducted: The preliminary round and the final round. SUMMARY:MyPSA I Can-cer Vive Virtual Run 2024
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with ‘World Cancer Day’ 2024\, MyPSA I Can-cer Vive Virtual Run 2024 provides an opportunity to show support for individuals currently battling cancer and increase public awareness about cancer. Each participant is given three weeks to complete a 5 km run. Any participants who manage to complete the virtual run within one hour and thirty minutes will be awarded an E-certificate. Through hands-on workshops and personalized mentoring sessions\, participants will refine their entrepreneurial ideas and gain practical skills to bring them to fruition. \n  \nThe climax of Phase II is the anticipated pitching competition. Participants will showcase their entrepreneurial prowess\, presenting and pitching their innovative ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Educational Trip Series 2023 is an event organised by the MyPSA Education Officer and  MyPSA Networking Officer. Pharmacy students can learn a great deal through this educational trip because it provides real-life experience. It is true that an educational trip is an ideal combination of sightseeing\, learning\, travelling\, and hands-on exploration opportunities. In part\, these trips contribute substantially to pharmacy students’ cognitive development because they allow them to observe authentic things beyond theory by experiencing them and observing them. Obviously\, there is no better way to learn something than to see it or do it for yourself. \nOn educational trips\, pharmacy students can interact with other students from 20 local universities in Malaysia. It gives them a chance to gain new perspectives and gain insight from complete strangers with different opinions. In addition to developing professional skills\, students can learn about local customs and build confidence. It’s important to note that educational trips create a lot of different types of learning styles for pharmacy students and are excellent teaching tools. It is not as simple as lecturing in the classroom. Educational field trips are indispensable in learning and thus the mode of trips should be encouraged and developed.
