DESCRIPTION:The Summer SEP 2023 will be commenced from this month to September! IPSF SEP is an all year round event which occurs twice a year\, during the Winter and Summer season. The SEP provides professional internship opportunities to pharmacy students across the globe.  Students who have registered with us can look forward to their exchange that will happen soon. Meanwhile\, the Summer SEP registration is still open with limited placements left for MyPSA members. You can plan and register for the upcoming student exchange program this summer with the help of our office. This time around\, the registration will be open until 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑\, 𝟏𝟏:𝟓𝟗 𝐏.𝐌. DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Effective Verbal Communication Workshop (EVCW) 2023 is an event organised by the Metamorphosis 5.0 participants of Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA). This programme will be conducted virtually through a ZOOM platform. Themed ‘Be The Best Among The Best’\, the EVCW 2023 is built upon the participants of Metamorphosis 5.0\, this workshop seeks to assist the pharmacy students with the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively in preparing job interviews\, presentations and providing opinions. It is hoped that the EVCW will serve as an ideal platform for the pharmacy students in identifying\, hence\, solidifying their professional goals to decide upon themselves the right path in moving towards the achievement of their goals as a highly competent pharmacist.

SUMMARY:MyPSA Educational Trip Series 2023: Community Pharmacy
DESCRIPTION:MyPSA Educational Trip Series 2023 is an event organised by the MyPSA Education Officer and  MyPSA Networking Officer. Pharmacy students can learn a great deal through this educational trip because it provides real-life experience. It is true that an educational trip is an ideal combination of sightseeing\, learning\, travelling\, and hands-on exploration opportunities. In part\, these trips contribute substantially to pharmacy students’ cognitive development because they allow them to observe authentic things beyond theory by experiencing them and observing them. Obviously\, there is no better way to learn something than to see it or do it for yourself. \nOn educational trips\, pharmacy students can interact with other students from 20 local universities in Malaysia. It gives them a chance to gain new perspectives and gain insight from complete strangers with different opinions. In addition to developing professional skills\, students can learn about local customs and build confidence. It’s important to note that educational trips create a lot of different types of learning styles for pharmacy students and are excellent teaching tools. It is not as simple as lecturing in the classroom. Educational field trips are indispensable in learning and thus the mode of trips should be encouraged and developed.

DESCRIPTION:The Student Exchange Programme (SEP) is IPSF’s largest project\, offering professional pharmacy internships. MyPSA SEP will be held in Summer 2023 (July – September) in the community\, hospital\, and research fields. There are a total of 9 international students from 6 different countries. Social activities are one of the most important components of a student exchange programme as it exposes international students to a better view of the country of exchange.  \n  \nCommon social activities held for IPSF SEP are such as SEP weekends\, pharmacy site visiting programmes\, international outings and many more. Meanwhile\, International MY-Friend Day incorporates SEP weekend and international outings into a 3 Day 2 Night programme. \n  \nThe Cameron Highlands is a popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty and unique attractions. The region is famous for its tea plantations\, which produce some of the best tea in the World. It is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers planning to travel to South East Asia.  \n  \nPlaces included in the visit:- \n\n Night Market \n Plantations\, gardens\, farm \n Mountains and forests \n Temples\, museums \n Cafes and local restaurants

DESCRIPTION:MyPSA YEP 2023 is an annual event that fosters entrepreneurship skills and knowledge\, focusing on the theme “Gen Z Pharmapreneurs” and emphasizing the significance of digitalization in the healthcare industry. Building on the success of Phase I\, where participants explored entrepreneurship opportunities and essential concepts like ideation\, design thinking\, validation\, and prototyping\, Phase II takes the experience to new heights. \n  \nIn Phase II\, participants will embark on an immersive 3D2N journey. This physical program offers a unique environment for participants to work closely with experienced mentors and industry experts. Through hands-on workshops and personalized mentoring sessions\, participants will refine their entrepreneurial ideas and gain practical skills to bring them to fruition. \n  \nThe climax of Phase II is the anticipated pitching competition. Participants will showcase their entrepreneurial prowess\, presenting and pitching their innovative ideas to a panel of esteemed judges. The competition will assess each pitch based on its creativity\, feasibility\, and potential impact on the healthcare industry. \n  \nThrough MyPSA YEP 2023\, MyPSA aims to empower the next generation of pharmapreneurs in Malaysia to leverage healthcare digitalisation and make a positive impact on the industry.
