Meeting minutes summary
The MyPSA General Meetings is held regularly among the MyPSA Executive Committee, Mainboards and Subcommittees to discuss arising important matters and decide on the most appropriate course of action. The Mainboards, consisting of the President/ Vice President and Contact Persons of each local society are the decision makers that will cast their vote. Then, the action that has the majority votes will be implemented. As the General Meetings mostly concern the above mentioned parties, this section is specifically dedicated to expose MyPSA members to the flow and proceedings of the General Meetings in a
summarized format to facillitate better understanding.
19th MyPSA Annual General Meeting 2024/25
The 19th MyPSA Annual General Meeting 2024/25 was held in hybrid mode at the ZOOM meeting and at the Wisma MPS Puchong. It was conducted for 2 days with the presence of mainboards from local societies, executive committees, nominees, observers and subcommittees.
The AGM focused on the presentation of annual reports by Executive Committees 2023/24, followed by the election of Executive Committees 2024/25 and bidding presentation for the 5th National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2025.
A total of 10 executive committees were successfully elected and we are glad to congratulate the Pharmacy Society Universiti Malaya (UM PharmSoc) for their successful bid to host the 5th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2025

3. Bidding Presentation for 5th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2025.
- Pharmacy Society Universiti Malaya (UM PharmSoc) was appointed as the official host of 5th MyPSA NPC 2025.
4. Approval of Utilising MyPSA Fund For World Congress and APPS 2024 Expenses
- The MyPSA National Council accepts the utilisation of MyPSA funds for the expenses of Official Delegates in World Congress and APPS 2024.


20th MyPSA Extraordinary General Meeting 2024/25
The 20th MyPSA ExtraordinaryGeneral Meeting 2024/25 was held in hybrid mode at the ZOOM meeting and at the Wisma MPS Puchong, on 2nd and 3rd November 2024. This EGM elected the executive committees with vacancies opened after the AGM 2024/25. The MyPSA Executive Committee 2023/24 also presented their annual report to wrap up their tenure.
Besides, this meeting included a bidding presentation of 8th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2025, clarification on Deficit for MyPSA Tenure 2023/24, updates on 24th IPSF APPS 2025, discussions on MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) and National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC). Lastly, the MyPSA Best Awards, MyPSA Best Contact Person Award, MyPSA Best Subcommittee Award and MyPSA Top University Participant were announced as well.
In this meeting, another 4 executive committees 2024/25 were successfully elected. We are excited to announce that the MAHSA University Pharmacy Students’ Society (MuPSS) was successfully appointed as the official host of 8th MyPSA NPRC 2025. With the dissolution of MyPSA 2023/24 Tenure, we would like to appreciate the executive committees 2023/24 and the Mainboards for their dedication and contribution towards MyPSA.

3. Clarification on Deficit for MyPSA Tenure 2023/24
- There was an actual surplus of RM 2,222.84 as of October 2024 after compiling the pending post-event reports.
- The national council accepted the Clarification from MyPSA Treasurer 2023/24.
4. Bidding Presentation for 8th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2025
- MAHSA University Pharmacy Students’ Society (MuPSS) was appointed as the official host of 8th MyPSA NPRC 2025.
5. Updates on 24th IPSF APRO Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium (APPS) 2025
- The MyPSA National Councils accepted the Updates on 24th IPSF APPS 2025 by the Chairperson, Ms. Tan Xin Yan.
6. Restructuring of MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) to an ExCo Event
- The MyPSA National Councils does not accept the restructuring of MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) to an ExCo event.
- The bidding for 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) will be opened soon.

MyPSA 1st General Meeting 2025
On 23rd February 2025, our 1st General Meeting was held successfully via Zoom meeting. The meeting is successfully held by all the Mainboards, Presenters, ExCos, Observers and Subcommittees of MyPSA.
This meeting discussed the updates regarding National Events which are 8th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2025, 18th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2025 and 5th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2025.
In addition, we are glad to announce that Monash University Malaysia has successfully bid to host the 20th MyPSA NoGAPS 2025. Meanwhile, the alternative mechanisms of hosting the 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition were proposed.

5. Alternative Mechanism for Hosting 11th MyPSA NPDC 2025
- Current issue is the absence of bidders for hosting this national event.
- For the 1st Proposed Alternative Mechanism, she has proposed a collaboration between Local Societies.
- The 2nd Proposed Alternative Mechanism, she has proposed the open recruitment for organising committees for the 11th MyPSA NPDC 2025.
- Current actions:
- Continue on approaching local societies to secure host/co-host.
- If any local society wishes to host the event, they may do so by submitting a proposal and informing the MyPSA PDO before the end of March 2025, even after the Phase 2 Bidding has closed.
- If no host is secured by the end of March 2025, the recruitment for the Organising Committees of the 11th MyPSA NPDC 2025 will be carried out.

MyPSA 2nd General Meeting 2025
The 2nd General Meeting was held on 18th April 2025 via Zoom meeting, along with the National Councils, presenters and MyPSA Subcommittees.
This meeting discussed the updates of 8th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2025, followed by the MyPSA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System, IPSF-APRO APPS, IPSF WC and IPSF-related events, and Hosting Mechanism of the 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) 2025
Furthermore, the National Council accepted the Application of University College MAIWP International (UCMI) as MyPSA Local Society and Budget Proposal for the Disbursement of ExCo Operational Allowances.

- Updates on objective, eligibility, coverage, points allocation and mechanism of accreditation of MyPSA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System 24/25.
- Access to International Events File Submission Forms are clarified.
- CPD points checking, system audit and renewal are elaborated.
5. Updates on the Hosting Mechanism of 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) 2025
- MyPSA Professional Development Office will be the host as Project Directors (PDs) and Head of Departments (HODs) of the 11th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) 2025.

6. Budget Proposal for the Disbursement of ExCo Operational Allowances
- Proposal to introduce a RM 500 operational allowance per tenure for MyPSA ExCo members for transportation claims and essential expenses to events, meetings or extra logistical runs.
- The National Council accepted the budget proposal for the disbursement of ExCo operational allowances.
