16th MyPSA NPSC 2023
MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival
The 16th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) had been successfully executed by the organizing committees from Persatuan Sains Farmasi (PSF) of Univevrsiti Sains Malaysia. The first day began upon the welcoming arrival and accommodation registration of the participants. Day 1 of the 16th MyPSA NPSC 2023 kickstarted with Track & Field which began in the evening until night. Continuing on Day 2, modern games such as volleyball, netball, table tennis, badminton, basketball, tennis, sepak takraw, petanque, squash and futsal were conducted. The last day's event started fresh with swimming, chess and e-Sports competition. The closing ceremony then ended with a prize giving ceremony and a montage video was shown.
On the first day, the event start after arrival of participants from various universities. Stating with track and events at Stadium Olahraga USM, semi-final competition is held at evening. The category of 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4 x 100m, 4 x 400m took place and winner of these category are qualify to enter final competition.
At night, the opening ceremony started with marching and flag raising ceremony of all contingents from each universities then followed oath taking ceremony.
The opening ceremony is then continued with grand arrival of important guests (VIPs and VVIPs) and mainboards of the 16th MyPSA NPSC 2023 organizing committee. Afterwards, the opening ceremony speeches were then given gracefully by Mr Yew Hong Sheng, President of Malaysian Pharmacy Students Association (MyPSA) and followed by Associate Professor Nurzalina binti Abdul Karim, Deputy Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences USM. The glorious opening ceremony was successfully officiated by respective Deputy Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences USM.
The event then continues with final round of 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4 x 100m and Mixed Relay track competitions. Around 11 at night, Mixed Relay track event ended marked as the final event of the first day.

Day 2 of the 16th MyPSA NPSC 2023 kickstart with modern games which began as early as 8 am in the morning. Volleyball, futsal and badminton match were held at indoor courts of USM Azman Hashim Sport Area meanwhile netball, sepak takraw, tennis were conducted at its outdoor courts. Few of the games left such as basketball and petanque were conducted at Desasiswa Bakti Permai & Cahaya Gemilang and Desasiwa Aman Damai respectively. Lastly, table tennis was conducted at Kompleks Sukan USM and squash at Stadium Olahraga USM. The final round of these matches continue after noon until 6 pm.
At night, the event continues with e-Sports competition of PUBG, FIFA, Mobile Legends and Valorant. Contigent who are qualified to final round will compete in final round on the next day.

The last day's event started fresh with swimming competition held at the Swimming Pool USM. Chess and e-Sports competition were held excitingly at the Dewan Kuliah U and Dewan Utama Desasiswa respectively.
Around 9.00 am, the closing ceremony started with the arrival of the important guests (VIPs), the mainboard of the organizing committee of the 16th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival and all of the participants. The ceremony continued with video presentation of highlights of MyPSA NPSC 2023 followed by a closing speech from Associate Professor Nurzalina binti Abdul Karim, Deputy Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences USM. It is then continued with the prize giving ceremony to all winners. The closing ceremony then ended with photography sessions and VIP refreshments.

with 39 medals collected! Congratulations!
