9th MyPSA NPRC 2026 Main Competition Category A,B & C Phase 2 Registration

The National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) is an event of the Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) that is conducted every year involving 21 pharmacy student societies in Malaysia. This event aims to promote healthy competition among pharmacy students nationwide by showcasing their research capabilities and enhancing their soft skills. Furthermore, it serves as a platform to foster networking opportunities and build meaningful relationships among participants from various pharmacy schools across Malaysia.
Category A:
Focuses on research in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoeconomics, and Pharmacy Education. Participants compete through three rounds: a Written Submission Evaluation, a Flash Presentation, and a final Full Oral Presentation.
Category B:
Focuses on research in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Technology. Participants compete through three rounds: a Written Submission Evaluation, a Flash Presentation, and a final Full Oral Presentation.
Category C:
Designed for participants to present a novel research idea or proposal. This category involves a single round consisting of a Flash Presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session, with no prior written submission or final round.
Additional Notes:
Written Submission – a structured abstract with a 3‑page mini‑paper.
Flash Presentation – a 5‑minute single‑slide presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A, but Category C is a 5-minute Q&A.
Final Oral Presentation – a 10‑minute presentation for the six finalists, followed by a 10-minute Q&A.

1st Round Entry Fee (MyPSA Member Participants): RM20
1st Round Entry Fee (Non-MyPSA Member Participants): RM25
Advanced Round Participation Fee (For Category A&B only)
MyPSA Member Participants: RM45
Non-MyPSA Member Participants: RM50
*Only top 20 participants for each Category in the Written Submission Evaluation Phase will be able to enter the next round of competition and will be required to pay the Advanced Round Participation Fee
Category C
MyPSA Member Participants: RM45
Non-MyPSA Member Participants: RM55
