20th MyPSA Annual General Meeting 2025/26
The 20th MyPSA Annual General Meeting 2025/26 was held in hybrid mode through an online ZOOM meeting and held at Wisma MPS Puchong. It was conducted for 3 days with the presence of mainboards from local societies, executive committees, nominees, observers and subcommittees.
The AGM focused on the presentation of annual reports by the MyPSA Executive Committees 2024/25, followed by the election of the MyPSA Executive Committees 2025/26, bidding presentation for the 6th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2026, updates on the bidding mechanism for 9th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2026, and introduction of the official international mascot of MyPSA.
A total of 7 executive committees were successfully elected and we are glad to congratulate Persatuan Sains Farmasi Universiti Sains Malaysia (PSF USM) for their successful bid to host the 6th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2026.

3. Bidding Presentation for 6th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2026
- Persatuan Sains Farmasi Universiti Sains Malaysia (PSF USM) was appointed as the official host of 6th MyPSA NPC 2026.
4. Updates on the Bidding Mechanism for 9th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2026
- The MyPSA National Council accepted the Updates on the Bidding Mechanism for 9th MyPSA NPRC 2026 by the MyPSA Education Officer 2024/25, Ms. Chan Wai Yi (Elva).
5. Approval of Utilising MyPSA Fund For World Congress and APPS 2025 Expenses
- The MyPSA National Council accepted the utilisation of MyPSA funds for the expenses of Official Delegates in World Congress and APPS 2025.
6. Introduction of the Official International Mascot of MyPSA
- The MyPSA National Council accepted the introduction of the official international mascot of MyPSA, which is a tiger plushie named “Tiggy”.
7. Appointment of MyPSA as the IPSF Audit Committee 2025/26
- The MyPSA National Council accepted the appointment of MyPSA as the IPSF Audit Committee 2025/26.
21st MyPSA Extraordinary General Meeting 2025/26
The 21st MyPSA Extraordinary General Meeting 2025/26 was held in hybrid mode through an online ZOOM meeting and held at Wisma MPS Puchong on 8th and 9th November 2025. This EGM elected the MyPSA Executive Committees with vacancies opened after the AGM 2025/26. The MyPSA Executive Committees 2024/25 also presented their annual report to wrap up their tenure.
Besides, this meeting included a guideline proposal for pre-selection interview of outgoing students for SEP and updates on MyPSA financial status 2024/25. In addition, the MyPSA Best Awards, MyPSA Best Contact Person Award, MyPSA Best Subcommittee Award and MyPSA Top University Participant were announced as well.
In this meeting, another 4 MyPSA Executive Committees 2025/26 were successfully elected. With the dissolution of MyPSA 2024/25 Tenure, we would like to appreciate the MyPSA Executive Committees 2024/25 and the Mainboards for their dedication and contribution towards MyPSA.

MyPSA 1st General Meeting 2026
The MyPSA 1st General Meeting was held on 27th February 2026 via an online ZOOM meeting, along with the MyPSA National Council, presenters and MyPSA Subcommittees.
This meeting discussed the updates on the 6th MyPSA National Pharmacy Competition (NPC) 2026. After that, the meeting continued with the bidding presentation for the 21st MyPSA National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS) 2026 by Taylor’s University, bidding presentation for the 19th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2026 by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and bidding presentation for the 9th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition by University of Cyberjaya (UoC). We would like to congratulate on all successful bidders of the National Events!
In addition, the alternative mechanisms of hosting the 12th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition were proposed. Furthermore, an update regarding the MyPSA Fresh Graduate Membership Registration Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was presented.

5. Alternative Mechanism for Hosting 12th MyPSA NPDC 2026
- The current issue is the absence of bidders for hosting this national event.
- For the 1st Proposed Alternative Mechanism, a collaboration between Local Societies was proposed.
- For the 2nd Proposed Alternative Mechanism, an open recruitment for organising committees for the 12th MyPSA NPDC 2026 was proposed.
- Current actions:
- Continue on approaching local societies to secure a host/co-host.
- If any local society wishes to host the event, they may do so by submitting a proposal and informing the MyPSA PDO before the end of March 2026, even after the Phase 2 Bidding has closed.
- If no host is secured by the end of March 2026, the recruitment for the Organising Committees of the 12th MyPSA NPDC 2026 will be carried out.
6. MyPSA Fresh Graduate Membership (FGM) Registration SOP Update
- All fresh graduates from the 21 universities are invited to apply for the MyPSA FGM, provided they meet the following criteria:
- Must register as a member of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) under PRP Membership, Ordinary Membership or Life Membership category.
- Had a valid MyPSA membership during the final year of study. (Terms and conditions apply)
- Must be a recent graduate within 4 years of the year of graduation.
- Applicants of the MyPSA FGM will gain benefits such as:
- No additional charge required. (Terms and conditions apply)
- Receive a virtual Fresh Graduate Membership card.
- Recognition as an IPSF member by the Association.
- Eligibility to participate in IPSF events and activities.
- Eligibility to be appointed to positions within the IPSF.
- However, there are some restrictions for the applicants of the MyPSA FGM:
- The MyPSA FGM applicants are not entitled to register as participants in any MyPSA National Events.
- They are not entitled to be appointed to the MyPSA Executive Committee and Subcommittee positions.
MyPSA 2nd General Meeting 2026
The MyPSA 2nd General Meeting was held on 24th April 2026 via an online ZOOM Meeting, along with the National Councils, presenters and MyPSA Subcommittees.
This meeting discussed the updates of the 9th MyPSA National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC) 2026, followed by the 19th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2026 and the MyPSA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System 2025/26.
Furthermore, the meeting also included a bidding presentation for the 12th MyPSA National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC) 2026. We are glad to announce that IMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (IPSA) has successfully bid to host the 12th MyPSA NPDC 2026!

4. Updates of MyPSA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System 2025/26
- Updates on objective, eligibility, coverage, points allocation and mechanism of accreditation of MyPSA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) System 2025/26 were announced.
- Access to International Events File Submission Forms was clarified.
- CPD points checking, system audit and renewal were elaborated.
MyPSA 3rd General Meeting 2026
The MyPSA 3rd General Meeting was held on 12th June 2026 via an online ZOOM Meeting, along with the MyPSA National Council, presenters and MyPSA Subcommittees.
This meeting mainly focuses on the updates of the MyPSA national events, including the 19th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2026 and 21st MyPSA National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS) 2026.
Afterwards, updates were given regarding the MyPSA National Events Bidding 2026/27 and MyPSA Top University Participant 2025/26.

1. Updates on 19th MyPSA National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2026
- An updated logo was introduced to replace the previous logo.
- Each department’s progress for the event preparation was updated to the National Council.
2. Updates on 21st MyPSA National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS)
- A total of 100 participants have registered for the event.
- Phase 1 Registration: 87 pax
- Phase 2 Registration: 13 pax
- Participating universities: UM, AIMST, Monash, Taylor’s, USM, IMU, UCSI, UKM, QIU, SEGi. UoC, UNM
- The activities planned for the event include:
- Ice breaking
- Team building (Including water games)
- Out-of-campus activities
- Gala Night
- Farewell
- One of the event highlights is the HogWARDS Quest Log, where participants are required to complete designated quests throughout the event in order to qualify for rewards. The 5 quests include:
- Achieving more than 80% attendance within a team during the symposium
- Achieving more than 80% attendance within a team during Workshop 1 and Workshop 2
- Achieving more than 80% attendance within a team during PHCC
- Have at least a meal together as a group
- Post a group photo and tag all team members on IG Story
3. Updates on MyPSA National Events Bidding 2026/27
- The bidding timeline for the MyPSA National events to be held in the 2026/27 tenure was outlined to the National Council:
- National Event Bidding Interest Survey: 13th June 2026 - 26th June 2026
- National Event Bidding Registration: 6th July 2026 - 6th August 2026
- National Event Bidding Presentation: During the 21st MyPSA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026/27
- Details regarding the bidding announcement and online bidding registration period were announced.
- MyPSA Officers will open the National Event Bidding yearly with a Bidding Registration Form link given via email.
- The bidding registration period will only last for one month, right after the announcement.
- In addition, details regarding the bidding registration period and MyPSA National Event proposal submission were explained during the meeting.
- There is no limitation of bidders for the particular event.
- Local societies must prepare their National Event Proposal once they have submitted the Bidding Registration Form.
4. Updates on MyPSA Top University Participant 2025/26
- The minimum requirements for being selected for the award include participation in at least 3 MyPSA Non-National Events and 1 MyPSA National Event.
- The award winner is selected according to the following criteria:
- The person with the highest CPD points in the respective local society.
- In the event of a tie, priority will be given to students with greater participation in MyPSA National Events.
- If candidates remain equally qualified, those with more achievements will be given priority.
- MyPSA members are qualified for MyPSA CPD Point Allocation for all MyPSA, MHSA, IPSF APRO and IPSF Events.

MyPSA 1st Special General Meeting 2026
The MyPSA 1st Special General Meeting (SGM) 2026 was held on 12th June 2026 via an online ZOOM meeting, along with the MyPSA National Council. The meeting’s objective was to approve proposals for the MyPSA Terms of Reference (TOR) amendments.
The meeting discussed the updates to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Fresh Graduate Membership (FGM), updates to MyPSA Terms of Reference Article 5 Definition, introduction of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for MyPSA Alumni, and the introduction of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for MyPSA Official Mascot.

1. Updates to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Fresh Graduate Membership (FGM)
- It was established to facilitate & support pharmacy fresh graduates in international event participation.
- Recognising that fresh graduates are unable to immediately register as Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) members upon graduation, a maximum grace period of six months from the date of application shall be granted for completion of MPS membership registration. Failure to fulfil the requirement shall result in automatic termination of FGM.
- The proposed mechanism for termination, transfer and loss of membership are outlined as below:
- Fresh Graduate fails to obtain MPS Membership.
- Secretary II issues the first reminder notice.
- Secretary II issues the final reminder notice.
- Applicant must submit proof of MPS membership within 7 days to retain FGM benefits.
- If no proof is submitted within the stated period, it shall result in automatic termination of FGM benefits.
2. Updates to MyPSA Terms of Reference - Article 5 Definitions
- It is aimed to list out and justify the definitions for certain words or phrases to prevent misunderstandings.
- The definitions for two terms were added to the MyPSA TOR, which included the words “NPDC” and “Alumni”.
3. Introduction of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for MyPSA Alumni
- The MyPSA Alumni is an initiative to formally recognise eligible pharmacy graduates who have previously served in MyPSA.
- It aims to provide a platform to maintain engagement, networking & professional contribution between alumni & current students.
- The criteria to be recognised as a MyPSA Alumni include:
- Must be a pharmacy graduate with at least 1 year of MyPSA membership.
- Must have served in MyPSA as a Member, Subcommittee or Executive Committee.
- Alumni are entitled to any events open to the public & any events listed as open to MyPSA alumni. However, they are not entitled to participate in national & international events as well as activities or projects of MyPSA.
- Alumni status shall be granted free of charge, shall not require renewal and shall remain valid unless stated otherwise.
4. Introduction of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for MyPSA Official Mascot
- It is introduced to strengthen MyPSA’s international identity for the MyPSA Official Mascot named “Tiggy”.
- The proposal mainly discussed the updates to the mechanism of Article 24 Assets and Property, and the introduction of Appendix VIII Care and Custodianship of MyPSA International Mascot. This is to ensure proper documentation of Tiggy’s Journey and proper care for the mascot.
