MHSA Blood Donation Awareness Campaign

MHSA Blood Donation Awareness Campaign is an awareness campaign that would mainly focus on educating people on the significance of donating blood. This act is vital as blood donation indirectly can save someone’s life who needs blood. Owing to certain health conditions and medical interventions, we cannot deny the fact that there is a continuous demand in the national blood bank. In addition to that, the arrangement of the blood drives has been debarred during the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected the blood bank as they are running out of blood donors. Therefore, via this campaign we also aim to spread awareness and encourage the public especially healthcare students who are in good health to donate blood regularly and gain more knowledge on blood donation awareness. This event is planned to be a one-month campaign held in June 2022 in conjunction with the World Blood Donor Day.
